Jeffrey Adams is a talented guitarist and avid transcriber with over 350 works to his credit. He specializes in Country, Jazz and Rock but is able to transcribe anything you throw at him. He has been playing guitar for over a decade and has been transcribing professionally for the last 6 years. During this time, he's had the pleasure of transcribing for Ray Flacke (Guitarist for Ricky Skaggs), Mike Chapman (Garth Brooks session bassist), Chris Leuzinger (Garth Brooks session guitarist), Keeley Electronics, and Gibson Guitars, to name a few. Check out the News and Professional Feedback pages for details.
In May 2007, he graduated from the McNally-Smith College of Music in St Paul, MN with a Bachelor's Degree in Guitar Performance. He also became the lead guitar player for the independent country artist Kendall Meyer just a month after his graduation, where sharing the stage with country artists such as Diamond Rio, and playing stadiums, auditoriums, and county fairs, across the United States, are the norm. He has studied with Tim Lyles, amazing jazz guitarist Clay Moore, classical guitar and rock extraordinaire Mike Menard, and session ace Cliff Wittstruck. Jeffrey's extensive theoretical knowledge, technical chops, and professional experience along with his love of unveiling the beauty behind contemporary western music to the musically curious makes him a highly qualified professional transcriber.
He is available for guitar lessons, music journalism, recording sessions, and transcr i ption work in printed music publishing, and instructional video production.
