missed a verse at the end, may only be on the live album?

Its a five star chain on a rundown dirt cheap no name
With or without room service whats done is the same
theres a vacancy at home but not tonight at the notel motel

then chorus twice
Can also play cadd9 instead of C

tater....what is he playing as he leads into each line of the chorus, don't know exactly what you call it, but it's like a walkdown or lead into each line. appreciate any help...

Which version live are album?
Album version not really a walk down its a hammer on e(the top string) from 2to3 then strum your g chord
on the live version not a clue but the best iknow he walks down from G to C 3-2 strum C
but i cant figure out is just how he gets back to G i think he strums C a couple of times then does this walk back to g 3to 2back to 3 but all on the e string doesnt do it in C formation

I'll experiement with what you have here...I'm referring to the live version on the new CD he has out. What is confusing...is if the walkdown does go into a C....you would have to be switching back to G very briefly and then moving right into a D from there. I know it's just a little bass line or fill...but it sounds much better solo if you play this. Really dig this guy's new CD.

Fixed the missing verse

This is tabbed to the studio version. I hear
the hammer ons on the intro more like

E--------------
B--------------
G--------------
D-0h2-0--------
A-------0h2---
E-----------3---
