When you say "the key of G", do you mean tune your guiter to open G or just that the song is in the key of G? I am new at guitar.

The key of G, normal tuned guitar (EADGBE), ibn the key or G, meaning chords GCD usually as main chords, solo in Gmajor pentatonic or G major.

Dont be mean. It's a good basic tab of the song for starters to get the feel of the song. Personally I put the Capo on 1, but its still fine and sounds good.

The only chord your missing for this song is C and you have one chord wrong its a Am not a Am7 thats played.

I don't know why folks have to bust chops here. The chords are right on. I'm not sure what key Alan did it in , But Hank Jr. does it in G. I capo at 2 and do it in A. When the song is fingerpicked properly it does go to Am but the 7th. is added on the second beat. Just listen to Hanks version and it's easy to pick up. The D also goes to a 7th before going back to G. It's hard to reflect every little nuance of a song without taking up three pages. Credit to the poster. Good job.
