I was watching their live DVD and I think Ron plays it Drop D capoed 2nd fret. Possibly tuned DADGAD. I need to play with it more to find out for sure. Try that!! -scottmiller | 6/17/2004 | I'm sorry to be such a grinch, but this chart is an approximation at best... In regular tuning, the progression should be E, C#m7, A, A/G#, A A/B E...
Have another listen... appreciate the work so far, but it's just not accurate!
Cheers... -paedroyhml | 8/12/2004 | Forget About It is in a Cadd9 tuning - but I tune it up to C# so the low string won't be so flippy-flappy-floppy. In C, the notes are CGCGCD. Tune each one up a half step. Capo 3, key of E. Ron Block actually told me how to play this after I posted before. Sorry for the inaccurate post prior. Scott -scottmiller | 1/6/2005 | Instead of tuning this to drop D, try putting the capo on the second fret and leave the low E open...this sounds better to me because it allows you to let those bass notes ring! Almost creates an open tuning feel... -rolltider64 | 4/27/2009 |
