20 Margaritas
written by Big Kenny
Album: "Comin' To Your City"
11/15/05
NOTE: I'm not sure if that C#m in the BRIDGE isn't really an E.
INTRO: E
E A
There's a boy named Billy from up there in Virgini
E B7
He makes that lightnin' holler in them hills
E A
He's got a recipe handed down from his pappy
E B7 E
And a shiny fifty gallon copper still
There's a boy named Jose, makes the best guacamole
And the hottest hot tamales in the west
He knows how to grow habaneros
And he plays in mariacha band
CHORUS:
E
I'll trade you 20 margaritas for your moonshine
B7
'Cause I like to have a party all the time
E A
I'll trade you 20 margaritas for your moonshine
E B7 E
'Cause I hear that stuff can really blow your mind
When Jose met Billay he was tequila crazy
In a honky tonk gettin' cowboy drunk on a moonlit starry night
Jose said "Billay we oughta have us a partay
And invite all them senoritas and just watch that full moon shine"
CHORUS
SOLO: E A E B7 E A E B7 E
BRIDGE:
A B E
Now Jose and Billay became the best of buddays

And raised a lot of hell around the world
A B C#m
But they'll never drink and drive 'cause they wanna stay alive
F#7 B
And have time to kiss all the lovely girls
CHORUS
A E B7 A
Oh I hear that stuff can really blow your mind
A B7 E B7-E
Blow your mind

I don't like B&R, but I love this song! My girlfriend has this CD, and she told me I'd like this song and "Caught Up In The Moment". I like them both. -WildCard76 | 11/24/2005 | Well, it's a shame you don't like B&R, but then I guess everybody's taste is different. And yeah, those are two great songs! This one's certainly country...I don't think anyone can argue against that. -twizzle05 | 11/24/2005 |
