On the Dm/F, finger a Dm and, like he said, curl your thumb around the top of your fretboard and hold down the top E string on the 1st fret.

the F chois version sounds better to the song:

Just a thoguht though, both are versions of the F chord, and maybe for the Dm, use a barred 1st finger if it works better for you, good tab though

For some reason, having a problem with the strumming pattern. Sound like mainly down-stroking, however I hear a high E after each 8 count?
