I just seen the Darlings do this on the Andy
Griffith Show. It sounds great! After checking it out
I seen that the band "The Dilliards" sang this. They
were regulars on the Andy Griffith Show. I even bought
the record. Only Ernest Tubb Record Shop sales this.

I've got this song on a cd titled "Apalachian Stomp" and the second to last line of the last verse is ... dooley's on the mountain, he lies there all alone. Just a quick little thing do it how ever you feel is best.
