C G D G C G D G C
INTRO (after violins)

  G
I talked to my sister in Memphis,
    Em
And told her you were movin' to town.
           D
Here's her number,
    C G C
She said she'd be glad to show you around.
G
I left a map on your front seat,
Em
Just in case you lose your way.
          D C
But don't worry, once you reach Sallisaw,
     G
It's all interstate.

D G C
I know you need to go,
    D G C D
But before you do I want you to know, that I

C G
Wish you the best
      D G
And I wish you nothing less,
           C G
Than every thing you've ever dreamed of.
      D Em D C G
And I hope that you find love along the way
            Am
But most of all,
Dsus D C G D G C
    I wish you'd stay.

G
I figure right about sundown,
Em
You'll be in West Tennessee.
       D
And by then,
      C G C
Maybe I'll understand why you had to leave.

G
I know that you've done some changin',
      Em
And I know there's no changin' your mind.
      D
Yes I know,
      C G
We've been through this a thousand times.

    D G C
I'm sorry for still holdin' on,
     D G C D
I'll try to let go and I'll try to be strong, and I'll

C G
Wish you the best,
      D G
And I wish you nothing less
           C G
Than every thing you've ever dreamed of
      D Em D C G
And I hope that you find love along the way
            Am
But most of all
Dsus D C G D G
    I wish you'd stay

           C
Yes, everything you've ever dreamed of
      D Em D C G
And I hope that you'll find love along the way
            Am
But most of all
Dsus D C G D G
     I wish you'd stay
             C G D G
I wish you'd stay

How is this played, fingerpicked, flat picked ect.?

Thanks
-tps5 | 11/21/2004
I used pick and fingers in the soundbyte.
I'm not sure how Brad plays it, but I have a
hybrid picking style, and I never use just
my pick or just my fingers.
-axehappy | 11/21/2004
Thanks Axe. How would you play the rest of the song? Would you fingerpick, hybrid or pick strum combination?

Thanks
