Axehappy originally tabbed this out. I have made only a few slight changes (one part
in particular in a different position). This isn’t a correction, just a submission
with a sound byte to help you guys learn the licks. There is one lick toward the end
that is played with a g bender. If you don’t have one, you can still make is sound
very close by playing the way Axehappy has it tabbed. Comments welcomed. Good luck!

Holy crap. I've seen axehappy's version but I still suck at guitar...so I couldn't tell if it was right, but wow. Cool soundbyte. Awesome job. Yup.

Nice job, you're a great addition to the site! Keep 'em coming.

where do i here the soundbyte?
-jimandpam | 1/4/2005
You have to be a platinum member to download the sound bytes. It is only 2.95/month. I include a sound byte of myself playing the song at album tempo and at a slowed down tempo with all of my tabs.

someone tell me what a g bender is please?
-njdevilsb | 1/16/2005
g bender is a device mounted on the bridge that bends the g string giving a pedal steel effect.
-marshred | 2/6/2005
the begining of the solo where the 5's are . are done with a bend behind the nut i seen him in concert and on the grand old opry twice .. but it sound great that way to. i have a couple live versions mp3s or this song with a modifyed solo can anyone tabs it out if i send it to them ... thank you
-gator1948 | 2/22/2005
Are you talking about the bends on the A string? If so, it is easier to get a more accurate bend the way I tabbed it. If you do it right, no one could tell the difference. Thanks for the insight.
-logansams | 2/22/2005
you must not got ya a telecaster...or not one with a Dr. Z amp...lol....but other than that your sound byte could be confused that it was Brad himself. good job
-cntyotlw | 3/23/2005
Actually, I do have a good telecaster and a few Dr. Z's. Just not on the recording :-) A Line6 POD can only sound so good... Thanks though.

Awesome
-sweethomealabam | 4/4/2005
is there a capo still on the 2 fret? thanks Jet
-jet7719 | 4/5/2005
No, no capo on this one.
-logansams | 4/5/2005
Actually if you look at Brad's guitar it is a custom made guitar to look like a telecaster. It really is a Crook custom guitar.
-chris41 | 4/12/2005
Yeah, but it is just like a telecaster... just hand made. Also Brad does use a vintage Fender Telecaster as well. It is the one with a pink paisley design.
-logansams | 4/12/2005
i made poopie

-benandheidi | 6/22/2005
this tab is awesome. actually its perfect! Did you use a vintage tele in your midi?
-guitar5 | 6/24/2005
No, I used a Deluxe American Telecaster with Fralin pick ups. Thank you.
