Send Down An Angel
Recorded by Brandon Jenkins

(No Capo)

Intro.: |(G) |(C)(D)| x 4

Lord (G)please, (C) (D/A)send down an (G)angel (C) (D)
Oh, at (G)least (C) 'til this (D/A)feeling is (G)gone (C) (D)

Lord (G)please, (C) (D/A)send down an (G)angel (C) (D)
'Cause I'm (G)lost and alone (C) and I (D)just can't go (G)on (C) (D)

'Cause I've (Em)been so down-hearted, (D/F#)lonesome and blue
All the (G)dreams that I've worked for have (Em)all fallen (D)through
And I (Em)know I'm not worth to (D/F#)ask you for help
But I've (G)burned all my bridges and I'm (C)scarin' my-(Am)self

Lord (G)please, (C) (D/A)send down an (G)angel (C) (D)
Oh, at (G)least (C) 'til this (D/A)feeling is (G)gone (C) (D)

Lord (G)please, (C) (D/A)send down an (G)angel (C) (D)
'Cause I'm (G)lost and alone (C) and I (D)just can't go (G)on (C) (D)

Lord, the (G)times (C) that (D)I have (G)felt you (C) (D)
Every (G)opportunity, (C) I (D/A)blew it some-(G)how (C) (D)

Lord, (G)please, (C) I'm (D/A)beggin' for (G)mercy (C) (D/A)
'Cause if I (G)ever needed you be-(C)fore, I (D/A)need you right (G)now (C) (D/A)

'Cause I've (Em)been so down-hearted, (D/F#)lonesome and blue
All the (G)dreams that I've worked for have (Em)all fallen (D)through
And I (Em)know I'm not worthy to (D/F#)ask you for help
But I've (G)burned all my bridges and I'm (C)scaring my-(Am)self

(G)Lord please, (C) (D/A)send down an (G)angel (C) (D)
Oh, at (G)least (C) 'til this (D/A)feeling is (G)gone (C) (D)

Lord (G)please, (C) (D/A)send down an (G)angel (C) (D)
'Cause I'm (G)lost and alone (C) and I (D/A)just can't go (G)on (C) (D/A)

I (D/A)just can't go (G)on, (C) I (D/A)just can't go (G)on (C) (D) (G) -----

On the Am chord I'm not sure but it sounds better with a D chord...
