Brandon Rhyder - It's What I Do

Capo 4
C

(C) The candles burning out, (G/B) it's almost gone
It's (Am) not gonna make it, (G) until the dawn
(C) Lying here, have I (G/B) had enough
Of (Am) asking myself, would I (G) give you up?

But (F) I will always, wait right here for (C) you
It's nothing new
I (F) will always, wait right here for (Dm) you
It's nothing (G) new, it's what I (C) do

The (C) bottles gone, didn't (G/B) take too long
(Am) One more drink, and (G) I'd be gone
(C) Laying here, in an (G/B) empty room
(Am) Asking God, should I (G) leave you soon?

But (F) I will always, wait right here for (C) you
It's nothing new
(F) I will always, wait right here for (Dm) you
It's nothing (G) new, it's what I (C) do (F)(C)

But (F) I will always, wait right here for (C) you
It's nothing new
(F) I will always, wait right here for (Dm) you (G)
That's what I (C) do

That's what I (F) do
I'll wait on (C) you
It's nothing (F) new
It's what I (C) do (F)(C)(F)(C)

You are aware that he plays in in D right? Capo 2 Key of D...you know, now that I think about it he leaves the E string open as well I think.

Thanks for your comment! Whether you capo 4 and play C or capo 2 and play D you still play in the same key, key of E. I put capo 4 to avoid the A/C# which many finds difficult. I'll comment on the open e later, I cut my finger and can't play along for a week or so.

Yeah, he leaves the E open, and plays it Capo 2 in D. Good tab man.
