If you're not used to playing in Bb this one may take some getting used to. Most of the chords are open
position except for the Bb bar 1st fret. Thank goodness they danced around the Eb of the scale. :) Watch
the C chord. In the intro and verses it's a Csus2, barred at the 3rd fret, which is a bit darker than Cmaj.
The mood lightens a bit in chorus so the Cmaj works great there. Actually, the Cmaj works all the way thru
but the Csus2 feels better in the noted places.
The intro can be played with chords and still sound pretty full. But the lead part is quite simple.
It's a sliding barred double stop played on the G and D strings.
BEDIT: Once again, I blew it. Tabbing on acoustic is sometimes not fruitful for me. When I played along
with the track on bass guitar, I found several errors in my tab
First of all, the song is in Fmaj not Eb. Similar scales except that the Fmaj contains E. Which is the second
chord in the chorus...not C. Actually, it's E5. I would have caught this if I had gotten the key correct the
first time.
Also, the Bb is not Bbmaj. It's Bbsus2. This ties back to what I thought were double stops in the intro.
Actually the intro and song are played with sus2 bar chords. See corrected intro tab
