Gm C C Gm Gm C F Gm (x2)
INTRO

         Gm Bb C Gm
Well the eagle's been flying slow, and the flag's been flying low
      F Am Gm
And a lot of people saying that America's fixing to fall.
    Gm Bb C Gm
But speaking just for me and some people from Tennessee,
   F Am Gm
We got a thing or two to tell you all.
     C Gm
This lady may have stumbled, but she ain't never fell
           C
And if the Russians don't believe that,
         D C Bb
They can all go straight to hell.
            Gm Bb C Gm
We're gonna put her feet back on the path of righteousness and then,
F Am Gm
God bless America again.

        F Am Gm
And you never did think that it ever would happen again,
Gm
In America did ya,
    F Am Gm
You never did think that we'd ever get together again,
Gm
But we damn sure fooled ya,
F Am Gm
Walkin' real proud and we're talkin' real loud again,
Gm
In America,
    F Am Gm
You never did think that it ever would happen again.

         Gm Bb C Gm
From the sound up in Long Island out to San Francisco Bay,
    F Am Gm
And everything between them is our home.
       Gm Bb C Gm
And we may have done a little bit of fighting amongst ourselves,
        F Am Gm
But you outside people best leave us alone.
       C Gm
'Cause we'll all stick together and you can take that to the bank.
          C D C Bb
Thats the cowboys and the hippies and the rebels and the yanks.
         Gm Bb C Gm
You just go and lay your hand on a Pittsburgh Steelers fan,
      F Am Gm
And I think you're gonna finally understand.

        F Am Gm
And you never did think that it ever would happen again,
Gm
In America did ya,
    F Am Gm
You never did think that we'd ever get together again,
Gm
But we damn sure fooled ya,
F Am Gm
Walkin' real proud and we're talkin' real loud again,
Gm
In America,
    F Am Gm
You never did think that it ever would happen again.

        F Am Gm

    F Am Gm

But we damn sure fooled ya,

Great classic song. I haven't tried it yet, but I think it would be easier to play all bar chords.
