Miss Me Baby

The other tab is right....probably the way i would play it live because
this version is tuned down a 1/2 step to match the recording. this
version makes it easier to do the picking like in the intro though.
either way...this is how it is recorded

TUNED DOWN 1/2 STEP TO Db

Intro: D, G (2x)

        D
Miss me baby
         G A
When you hear our favorite song,
        D
Miss me baby
             G A
And when you start to sing along
       Bm A G
Think about all the times that we danced
       F#m Em A
In moonlight to it all night long, oh
             D G
Then miss me baby.

            D
And want me honey,
         G A D
Like you did the night you told me that you loved me
            G A
We couldn't wait anymore.
         Bm A G
Left the keys in the door, took my hand
          F#m Em
Pulled me down on the kitchen floor.
                   A
Yeah, we were that crazy
       D
Miss me baby.

                G
Cause when he's holding you,
               D
Know that it's killing me,
       Em
Let my memory be the reason girl
     A
That you can't sleep
         G
And everytime you feel his touch,
          D
I pray to God it's not enough
              Em
And that I've touched your heart so deep
                A
Girl, you can't shake me
        G
Cause I love you,
      A
Yes I need you,
       D
Miss me baby.

D, G (2x)

        D
Miss me baby,
          G A
Until you can't take it no more
        D
Miss me baby
          G A
Pack your bags and hit the door
      Bm A G
I'm a man, I was wrong, forgive me
          F#m
Come back home
        Em
I'll be waiting
           A
Right here waiting
       D
Miss me baby.

                G
Cause when he's holding you,
               D
Know that it's killing me,
       Em
Let my memory be the reason girl
     A
That you can't sleep
         G
And everytime you feel his touch,
          D
I pray to God it's not enough
              Em
And that I've touched your heart so deep
                A
Girl, you can't shake me
        G
Cause I love you,
      A
Yes I love you,
           G
Oh Miss me baby.

Break: D, Em, A

         G
And everytime you feel his touch,
          D
I pray to God it's not enough
              Em
And that I've touched your heart so deep
                A
Girl, you can't shake me
        G
Cause I love you,
      A
Yes I need you,
       D
Miss me baby.

     G A
Everytime you hear this song,
              D
Miss me baby

I couldn't agree with you more mate.
the Bastard politicians, I wonder how many
of their sons and daughters and how many of them
went over there. You will find all of them
dodged the draft by going to uni. However at the time they didn't want to go
so that was their decision,
I dont blame people for not wanting to go but
i am sick of the people who treated the poor soldiers
the way they did. the same will happen with the iraq war too.

Great tab! I might make one small correction, or maybe addition: I hear a Dsus4 in the intro. Don't know what else is played, but I hear one or two of those. Again, great tab!

Can someone tab out the intro?

Music should make you laugh, cry, or take you back to some place or memory in time....if it cant do that then its just a song. This is definitley music. Brings back lots of memories and feelings. Great tab man. Appreciate it.

A couple suggestions...In the rundown in the verse it should be a D/F# instead of F#m, and in the chorus, instead of G into D, it should also be a D/F#...listen to the bass notes...so the chorus should start at G and then D/F#, Em7, A..you could change the Em in the verse to Em7's as well...

actually i did try out for Nashville Star and didnt make it through the first round. it was bs how they had the auditions. 10 people in one room with a judge in front of you and all 10 of the competitors sing at once. so loud you couldnt hear yourself sing or play guitar. thanks for the comment though...i recorded that with some kind of crappy recorder i downloaded. makes it sound all distorted.

Does anyone know the chords to "When I get there" by Cagle?
