just my opinion: I think you might have the chorus tabs reversed.
i.e. the G9 and the Bm.
The line that says: The river of regret runs deep and wide. I would
end the WIDE with an Em instead of the G9.
All in all everything else is pretty good.

I appreciate the comment, but can't see how you hear that difference
in the song. I've tried playing again to be sure, and I'm getting
the same results.

if you add an "A" chord instead of the c#m...it should sound better.
