D A/C#
Last night you told her
B A
You could never hold her, cause a...
G D/F# A A/B A
Cowboy's just got to be free
D A/C#
Her heart was breakin'
B A
Yours was achin', but you...
G A D
Saddled up to follow your dreams

(Verse 2)
D A/C#
Coffee on your campfire
B A
Wind through the barb-wire
G D/F# A A/B A
You huddle close to the flames
D A/C#
Though she's far behind you
B A
The night wind reminds you, it just...
G A D G
Keeps on whisperin' her name

(Chorus)
A G D G
You can make a run for the border
A G D D, A/C#, B
Try to hide at The Hole In The Wall
                                  A/C#
But don't you know your arms are... achin' to hold her
    G D/F# A
And cowboy even though you're ridin' tall
       A7sus4 A7 (2nd half of intro)
You're ridin' for a fall

(Verse 3)
D A/C#
Midnight the moon's up
B A
Hands around your tin cup
G D/F# A A/B A
The frost settles in on the sage
D A/C#
The night's gettin' colder
B A
Well man you're gettin older
G A D
Tonight you're fellin' your age

(Verse 4)
D A/C#
Why don't you turn back, just...
B A
Saddle up and backtrack
             G D/F# A A/B A
You know you never find a love quite like hers... And tell me
     D A/C#
On a cold lonesome evening
         B A
What the hell good's your freedom
          G A D
Don't you think it's time you hung up your spurs

(Chorus)

Yes it is a Bm not a B... also on the chorus "achin to hold her" is an F#m and "though your ridin" is Em and then "tall" is Asus as such below... try it and God Bless

A G D G A G D
You can make a run for the border, try to hide up the hole in the wall
Bm F#m
But don't you know your arms are achin' to hold her
G Em Asus
And cowboy even though you're ridin' tall
A D
You're riding for a fall
