Great song but I think the tab is missing
some chords but they are so suttle I can't
seem to find them right now. But I can hear
something different then what is inbetween
what is posted in the chorus.

Try a B instead of Bm on the bridge seems to work better thanks for
the song
-stratplyr75 | 4/16/2003
you should include every chord progression, not just the first verse and chorus...
-WildCard76 | 5/4/2003
It's kinda redundant....if they are the same chords...don't ya think???
I chord the verse, bridge, and chorus of the tunes I tab as well as any
other changes that occur....
I must be doing something right for people to get my work here:)
Not all of us are perfect...we just try:::))
-palamin0 | 5/5/2003
I definitely agree on the Bm's being regular B's or perhaps B7's.
Other than that great tab! And we can figure out where the chords go
in the 2nd and 3rd verses even if they aren't all written out ;o)
-Shantel | 5/8/2003
Yea we can figure out where to chords go... that's your style... nice job

-ccfish81 | 5/19/2003

I think there should be a Cadd9 after the C in the lines cotton wood
tree. And old dirt road.

-smokdyvr | 12/4/2003
hey good job everything is right except for the b is a b7 i am in
kawait right now and craig morgan did a show with us and i asked him
to play it and he took me aside after the show and showed me!!!! so
it all looks good to me

-nemoagnt212 | 1/3/2004
before the first and second chorus', (iwas afraid that he was... and
cane poles on the tail gate) is what is known as a pre-chorus
or just the end of the verse not bridge.. the bridge or C section
is "old man your gonna freeze to death...."great job though!! this
songs structure is intro-ababcb which is a very popular format-
verse "a section"-(lyrics change usually music stays the same with
maybe a variation on the melody) chorus "B section"- (lyrics stay the
same usually, music is the same) ..and bridge (C section)- music is
different from chorus and verse usually leading the climax or "point
of no return" into the chorus alot of times this is when they do a
variation on the chorus like in this song they drop most of the
instruments and its kinda of a softer chorus.. once in a while a song
will go into a 3rd verse from a bridge but usually if they go into a
3rd verse it would be from a solo section..like a guitar wailing over
the chorus or verse chords then into the last verse .. a bridge does
not repeat in the song..

the less talented folks like me. Good song. Good tab.

Why is Craig not heard more??? He's great in person at a small club. You could never get that close to AJ!

Definitely a B7 in the "I was afraid" part.

Actually there is also no capo for the song either. I watched him play it live.
-jwelb2004 | 4/6/2005
I've seen him play it with and without the capo on the grand ole opry.
