THE D2 ON THIS SITE SHOWS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT I PLAY,
IT SHOULD BE LIKE THIS...
E--0--
B--3--
G--0--
D--4--
A--5--
E-----

Intro: ((G)) , ((C)), ((G)), ((C)), ((D2)).((C)) (SLIDE FROM ((C)) TO ((D2)) TO ((C)))

         ((G)) ((C)) ((G))
As he climbed in the chute, the crowd held it's breath:
         ((C)) ((C/B)) ((Am)) ((D))
He was seconds from glory or moments from death.
      ((G)) ((C)) ((G))
They knew with this bull, it could go either way.
           ((C)) ((C/B)) ((D))
He said: "Let her go boys, an' pray."

    ((G)) ((C)) ((G))
He hung on for eight but he couldn't get loose:
                ((C)) ((C/B)) ((Am)) ((D))
That's when a clown they call Crazy came to his rescue.
          ((D)) ((C)) ((G))
When the dust finally settled, they both walked away.
             ((C)) ((C/B)) ((D))
Yeah, they became best of friends that day.

(CHORUS)

      ((G)) ((D/F#)) ((Em)) ((D))
The cowboy an' clown, close as two brothers.
  ((C)) ((C/B)) ((Am)) ((D))
Chips up or down, they could count on each other.
  ((G)) ((D/F#)) ((Em)) ((D))
Buckles an' beers, winnin' an' losin':
   ((C)) ((C/B)) ((Am)) ((D))
Laughter an' tears, broken hearts an' bruises
       ((Am)) ((D))
They lived for the next final round:
                 ((G)) ((C)), ((D2)), ((C))
The cowboy an' clown.

       ((G)) ((C)) ((G))
From Denver to Dallas, to the Calgary Stampede:
      ((C)) ((C/B)) ((Am)) ((D))
They took all those towns, an' a few in between.
         ((G)) ((C)) ((G))
But it ended one night, in a West Texas town:
            ((C)) ((C/B)) ((Am)) ((D))
The bulls either got faster, or ol' Crazy slowed down.

(BRIDGE)
((A)) ((D)) ((A))
Five hundred pick-ups, lights on, drivin' slow.
   ((D)) ((A/C#)) ((Bm)) ((E))
A tent on the hill at the end of the road.
((A)) ((D)) ((A))
When the last Bible closed, one cowboy stayed.
           ((D)) ((A/C#)) ((E))
He said: "Let her go boys, and pray."

(CHORUS)
     ((A)) ((A/G#)) ((A/F#)) ((E))
The cowboy an' clown, close as two brothers.
 ((D)) ((A/C#)) ((Bm)) ((E))
Chips up or down, they could count on each other.
  ((A)) ((A/G#)) ((A/F#)) ((E))
Buckles an' beers, winnin' an' losin':
((D)) ((A/C#)) ((Bm)) ((E))
Laughter an' tears, broken hearts an' bruises.
       ((Bm)) ((E))
They lived for the next final round:
                 ((A))
The cowboy an' clown.

((A)), ((D)), ((A)), ((D)) (SLIDE 2 FRETS DOWN THEN BACK) ((A))

***CAN SUBSTITUTE THE ((Bm)) FOR ((D/B)) IF YOU LIKE THAT SOUND.***

some mistakes:
He said:[C] "Let her go [Am]boys, an' [D]pray."

you had:
He said:[C] "Let her go [C/B]boys, an' [D]pray." (he does the "C/B" the rest of the song but the "Am" first verse)

When the[G] dust finally settled, they [C]both walked [G]away.

you had:
When the[D] dust finally settled, they [C]both walked [G]away.
