hey aaron this looks good. im not around my guitar but am visualizing what you tabbed and how i play it im my head and they are very close. i can tab my way for you so we can compare and see what we come up with, but in the mean time if you have the soul gravy dvd check out the solo cody canada does during the intermission of carny man (its the one he plays when grady announces him) anyway i tabbed it out and would appreciate your take on it. thanks -Randy Polansky | 1/30/2006 |
Sorry I dont have the soul gravy DVD so i dont know how your tab should sound Aaron

this isnt right, the chords are Bm A G and D
verse are Bm A Bm G Bm A G A, chorus is D A G, and the riff end is G A D

yeah your right emoe that is how the chords should go. thats correct but aaron has the solo petty close. cody canada plays it a little different each time but all musicians do, so what he originally tabbed (the solo) looks good. if you want some little add ons and lead patterns or some alternate versions let me know i will post them for you. oh yeah check out the intermission solo for carney man that i tabbed (its from the dvd) it sounds sweet and was taught to a buddy of mine by grady cross (yeah grady can play lead just like cody) he is not just a chord strummin rythem player, he can play all the stuff cody does too. anyway comment on it for me and let me know what you think. -Randy Polansky | 2/4/2006 |
The Intro is right if you listen closly you can hear a quick D before he goes to the A and G, as for the verses what you said is the same as what I have. However you are right on the chorus.

Never mind I think if you play the chorus the way i tabbed it it should be the same as you say its played
