It's not on an album yet. Cody said they'd be back in the studio in March... This song is bad ass... good job I think it sounds best in Capo 2, that's how he played it at an acoustic show last week... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6J4ICojQfI -Schultzy2808 | 12/10/2008 |
This song is on the newest Ragweed CD titled "Happiness And All The Other Things" -willstanback | 9/4/2009 |
album version of this song is with capo on 2 -kcombs_11 | 10/4/2009 |
When playing the chorus, don't use a Cadd9... Instead...
"Well this rollercoaster", strum a G
"bathtub toaster", strum a D/F#
etc...
Just a basic walk down.
D/F# can be played like e.--------3-----------| b.--------3-----------| g.--------------------| d.--------------------| a.--------------------| e.----2---------------|
-OR-
e.--------3-----------| b.--------3-----------| g.----2---------------| d.--------------------| a.--------------------| e.----2---------------|

The recorded version is definetly capo 2 in the key of E. I am not quite sure about the D7, it could be a D/F#. I would also say that it has the same change in the second line of the verse. For instance, "D D/F# A D I'd have about $235 and not a lot a way & see You could use either one D7 or D/F# because both chords are transitional indicating a change to a higher chord or possibly a walkdown in the case of D/F#. The previous poster is right about changinging the Cadd9 to G (Rolercoaster), then G to D/F#(Toaster). This should also be included in the instrumentals into and outro. -gdbrown | 11/30/2009 |
On second thought , I think it is a D7 instead of D/F#. Original post is right but add D7 in second line of Verse -gdbrown | 11/30/2009 |
