Lighthouse Keeper
Cross Canadian Ragweed
Garage
tabbed by Cross Canadian TX

intro: C#m E B C#m

C#m
a long haired man came to my door
E
wearin roman sandals
E
carryin a golden sword
B C#m
He said 'come with me and ill take you higher'
C#m
we soared out of the atmosphere
E
on his magic carpet that he let me steer
B C#m
said 'take the reins son and ill let you fly'er
C#m
we escalated thorugh a thick of clouds
E
and our only thought was not coming down
B C#m
towards the amber glow i started to feel the fire
C#m
there was a uicorn with a neon horn
E
wearing a velvet saddle that was slightly worn
B C#m
i pulled my mystic rug right up beside'er
C#m
i sat down on a floatin stool
E
she knelt her head and produced a jewel
B C#m
and i smiled and asked if i could ride'er

Chorus:
A B C#m
And i saw the Lighthouse Keeper
A B C#m
His hollow eyes that pierced my soul
A B C#m
He said that im just a desperate seeker
A B C#m
Searchin' for what i did not know

on pegasus i was flyin free
carless lost over a purple sea
when i came upon this lonesome fortune teller

she gazed into her crystal ball
and i saw that giant gavel fall
she asked if i could be her pall bearer

and i heard that gypsy prophesy
of the tearin' flesh and the mother's cry
and the crimson flow of blood that would run forever

we stood before the kings and queens
and the hooded man with the guillotine
and prepared to meet the eternal tax collector

then i dined there with an aristocrat
on his balcony with a welcome mat
and he laughed and drank all the wine from his cellar

super easy song but a great one none the less!! have fun guys and gals!!
this is probably my favorite song on the album

How are they making that growling sound in the intro. It's hard to hear but it's definitely there.

PS- Scott Copeland definitely does kickass. I would check him out at www.reddirtscene.com and then go to the free MP3 section. He's got all sorts of crazy stuff on there.

Nevermind, I just answered my own question.

It's a digeridoo (one of those crazy horn things from Australia). They use it a lot on "Breakdown" and that's how I figured it out.

In my ear the last three chords in the chorus are not right. I think it should be E, B, C#m
