Should be an F#m where you have an A7 in the first line.
I also think there is a Gm at "I know you prayed I'd make it". -lmofle | 12/16/2004 | I got a chance to sit down and talk with DAC at the Texas Club in Baton Rouge and she showed me to play it that way, but it does sound like Gm in the album. There is no Fm in the song anywhere. -benjaminmb | 1/15/2005 | does anyone know where to download this song? i have the old LP that my dad gave to me years ago, but i have never been able to find it online. -pgfan4life | 2/5/2005 | the song is on the DAC Essential which came available in august of '04. you can get it from barnsandnoble.com or kmart. I have the vinal edition of Darlin' Darlin' also and the Essential -benjaminmb | 3/8/2005 | I agree that there is an F#m where the first A7 is tabbed. The Gm also works. There is also a Bm in the chorus at "fault" followed by a D then G. This is the way it's played on Essential David Allan Coe Album. -mmcvay | 2/4/2009 | Also there is a Bm in the third line at "through" -mmcvay | 2/4/2009 |
