CAPO 2

INTRO: G-D

VERSE 1

G C
So this is how it ends
G C Am
This is where it all goes down
G C Am
This is what I don't love you feels like

G C
It ain't the middle of the night
G C Am
And it ain't even raining outside
C C Am C
It ain't exactly what I had in mind
    Am
For goodbye

CHORUS

G D C
At a red light in the sunshine
        Am G
On a Sunday nothing to say
      D C Am
Don't even try

G D
Some are coming home
                 C
Some are leaving town
         Am G
While my worlds crashing down
        D C Am G
On a Sunday in the sunshine at a red light

Follow the G with a D and then G-D like intro.

VERSE 2

G D C
I thought she was going to say
    Am G
Something about that couple kissing
D
Crossing the street
       C Am G
Or something about this beautiful day

G D C
But she just looked me in the eye
     Am G D
Said its over didn't try to lie or pick a fight
C Am
   I might have seen it
G D C Am
Coming that way

CHORUS 1 AGAIN

Bridge
Bm
There's a mama

Calming down a little baby
       Em
In the backseat in front of me

Bm
There's an old man dressed

In his Sunday best
A
Just waiting on green
                       D
But I cant see getting past

CHORUS 2
         D C
This red light in the sunshine
        Am G
On a Sunday nothing to say
      D C Am
Don't even try

G D
Some are coming home
                 C
Some are leaving town
         Am G
While my worlds crashing down
        D C Am G
On a Sunday in the sunshine at a red light

REPEAT CHORUS 1 TWICE

Man....chords are not right on this one...sorry.....
-Diesel-Dan | 9/6/2009
Ya... not even close. First... the first note of the verse is an F#m or (Em relative to capo)
So...
Intro - C G D Em C G D Dsus4 D Dsus2 D
Verse - Em G (x2) Em G C Am
Chorus - same as intro (no sustains on the second time through)
Verse 2 - same as 1st verse
Bridge - D Em C G D Em C Csus2 D

This is all relative to capo 2 mind you. Also, listen to the song because the strum pattern in not up, down, up, down. It switches between chords. Just listen to it with these notes. You'll hear it. Later
