Domestic, Light, and Cold
by: Dierks Bentley
CD: Modern Day Drifter

Intro: (A E A E) x 2

       A D A
Hey bartender, can I make one special request?
          A B E
My woman left me, so tonight I'll be drinkin' your best.
   F#m (F#m7???)
I'm not talkin' about Single Malt, Scotch,
 A B7
Jagermeister, or Cuervo Gold.
           D E A
I'll take anything domestic, light, and cold.

Chorus:
   E A E A
Domestic, light, and cold, that's what I'm havin'.
  E A B E
Serve me up any old, iced-down American classic.
  A A7 D B7
Pop a top, crack a can, just don't make me wait too long.
           E A
I'll take, anything domestic, light, and cold.

No, I wasn't cheatin'. She just said that I was hard to please.
And I'll admit it: I can be set in my country ways.
So go ahead and break out the good stuff, if I can be so bold.
I'll take anything domestic, light, and cold.

Chorus

Bridge
 F#m A
You've got beer from all over the world on the wall.
 F#m A A-Bb-B
I can even get a free t-shirt, if I try them all.
 B
But tonight I'm in the mood for
 E E7
some of that home-grown brew!

Intro
          A A7
Yeah, pop a top, crack a can,
      D B7
just don't make me wait too long.
            E (D7*)
I'll take, anything domestic,
E (D7*)
hey I know what the best is.
E A
Anything domestic, light, and cold!

*-This is either not here, or a very quick change to it. Try it and let me know.

F#m7...I know this isn't the name for this chord, but the chord sounds right.

-superjoint_down | 6/22/2005
Thats one of the parts I'm not quite sure about. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to recommend them to me. I just tried to get as accurate of version up as I could.

I think I figured it out but I'm not sure what the chord is called.
-mystikal1116 | 7/4/2005
The chord in question is
F# maj 7.

Shalom, from Spike the Grate

Great job finding the chords to this song..I've been trying to figure it out for the past few weeks and got nowhere..this song is pretty straightforward except I can understand how that F# maj 7th can be a pain especically when you have 12 gauge strings.

You should have included the verse with Cody Canada.
