Sounds good bro, glad the song is getting out there for everyone to hear. -lonesome | 2/9/2005 |
Dierks is a friend of mine. I'll do anything to help further his career. -WildCard76 | 2/9/2005 |
Sounds good to me. -joen25 | 2/28/2005 |
Are you seriously friends with Dierks? That's gotta be cool. Hey great job man. -ermapoop | 3/2/2005 |
Yep. Since Jan. of 2003. -WildCard76 | 3/2/2005 |
I really love this song. Kinda sums up a 17 year old's life, lol. Great tab, but when don't you make great tabs? Thats really cool too that you know Dierks. I shook Pat Green's hand one time...if that counts for anything. Keep up the good work Wildcard. -mystikal1116 | 3/6/2005 |
I live in Wisconsin, I have no shot of being friends with anybody. I'll just have to make it myself I guess, and credit this website when I do. -ermapoop | 3/8/2005 |
Heeeeey, another Wisconsinite. At least we can strive and dream about being this famous. Dierks is definitely on his way. and this tabs rocks!! -anna4041 | 3/24/2005 |
Just need a little clarification because my guitar isn't in my hands at the moment while I'm listening to the song. When you write the A chord for this tab, do you mean "concert A" or the A chord shape with the capo at 2nd fret...which is "concert B?" Thanks for clarifying. -1moreguitarist | 3/26/2005 |
Yes. The song is recorded in B. When capo'd, the B changes to A. -WildCard76 | 3/27/2005 |
Dierks is the man. I don't know him but there is a new band from virginia called The Hackens Boys and when we make it big we got to give credit to deirk's music and this site. -Skynyrd03 | 3/27/2005 |
lol.....well, I'm from Kentucky, and everyone think's we are a bunch of backward inbred hillbillies down here. But anyway great tab and thanks! -Matt -speed2345 | 3/31/2005 |
There's the other Kentuckian!! At least we got Ricky Skaggs, Montgomery Gentry, Loretta Lynn, Dwight Yoakam, and of course Billy Ray!!! hahaha -armerritt | 4/11/2005 |
Well I don't usually comment on these but I thought I would. My best friend is Dierks obsessed and she just got a guitar so I thought I would try and teach her a few things and what better way to do it than with her obsession. Thanks so much for tabbing this out.
-juju17 | 4/12/2005 |

I live in Colorado and my mom is a songwriter and flys to Nashville about once every 3 months and she was just there this past week and was pulling into the recording studio parking lot as Dierks was leaving and almost hit his truck. There is my story about him. -tourpro | 4/20/2005 |
Here's another North Carolinian. Great tab. -jharris43 | 4/26/2005 |
Just for clarification, what are you calling F#m? 122111? -daltonme | 4/30/2005 |
F#m = 244222 -WildCard76 | 5/1/2005 |
I play Bass (beginner) - and I like to check out these sites from time to time and see what else I can pick up. On a side note... It is great to see so many wonderful things written about Dierks! I'm out in CA. I guess you could call me a major Dierks Fan - He's the only artist I'll fly to another state to see! Anyway, he is a very down to earth person and makes time for all of his fans.

Hell, I couldn't resist... I live in Texas, and in the same town as Robert Earl Keen and Charlie Robinson (& his Dixie Chick wife). Charlie's hometown is 11 miles from my town, and both "heros" own a ranch outside of my town. I go to the same school as REK's daughter, and have had coffee w/ him @ our small little gas station! His daughter got like 4th in the talent show, go figure. Fun Fact. - and great tab! -Sinko_C | 5/4/2005 |
LET'S QUIT YAPPING ABOUT DEIRK. THIS TAB IS RIGHT ON. 1 PROBLEM. YOU CAN'T PLAY IT THIS WAY WITH AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR AND SING. YOU NEED DRUMS. ANYWAYS DEIRK WAS ON GAC ON COUNTRY ACROSS AMERICA WITH HIM AND HIS GUITAR DOING COUNTRY ACROSS AMERICA WITH STORMIE WARREN. HE PLAYED ABOUT 15 SECONDS OF THIS SONG GWITH HIM AND HIS GUITAR. HE WAS CAPO'D ON THE FORTH FRET AND I BELEIVE HE WAS PLAYING 'G' POSITION. ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO PLAY IT THAT WAY?????? PLEASE PUT THE TAB ON IF YOU DO. -Jason2000 | 5/7/2005 |
Hope that helped!
Chris -WildCard76 | 5/7/2005 |
Hey ok I just had to put a comment on here... I'm from Texas and got to hang out with Dierks before one of his concerts... he's a pretty awesome guy and I think I speak for everyone when I say I hope he keeps writing songs like this one. I love the way you tabbed it out in two different chord positions. Thanks again.
