Key:G NO CAPO

Intro: G D/F# Em7 D/F# x2

G D/F# Em7 D/F#
I took my love and I took it down
G D/F# Em7 D/F#
I climbed a mountain and I turned around
       G D/F# Em7 D/F#
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
          G D/F# Em7
Well the landslide brought me down
D/F# G D/F# Em7 D/F#
Oh mirror in the sky what is love
          G D/F# Em7 D/F#
Can the child within my heart rise above
       G D/F# Em7 D/F#
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides
       G D/F# Em7 D/F#
Can I handle the seasons of my life
   G D/F# Em7 D/F# G D/F# Em7 A
Uh,uh Uh, uh Uh, uh
         D A Bm
Well I've been afraid of changing cause I
   G D/F# Em7
Built my life around you
A D A Bm
But time makes you bolder and children get older
      G D/F# Em7 D/F#
And I'm getting older too well

G D/F# Em7 D/F# x3 G D/F# Em7 A (mandolin solo)

         D A Bm
Well I've been afraid of changing cause I
     G D/F# Em7
Built my life around you
A D A Bm
But time makes you bolder and children get older
      G D/F# Em7
And I'm getting older too
D/F# G D/F# Em7 D/F#
Well I'm getting older too so
G D/F# Em7 D/F#
Take this love and take it down
     G D/F# Em7
Yeah and if you climb a mountain and you turn around
D/F# G D/F# Em7 D/F#
And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
          G D/F# Em7
Well the landslide brought me down
D/F# G D/F# Em7 D/F#
And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
      G D/F# Em7 D/F# G D/F# Em7 D/F#
Well maybe well maybe
      G D/F# Em7
The landslide will bring you down

This is NOT the "Right One" Dixie Chicks' version of Landslide...
I have the Evening with the Dixie Chicks DVD..Look Close! Natalie
plays the C G Am7 G Chords with a capo on the 7th fret.
Have a great day....

I don't know about the videos and what she does there, but this is a really good version (and the same key) as the recording on the "Home" CD.

My youth ministers fiance wanted me to play this song for her to sing to on the
4th of July and so I tabbed it on the spot,
while listening to the CD, and this is the way that it is played, I'm glad that all of you people are
trying to make the your guitar sound like a banjo,
but the guitar part has a steady strum to it in the background, if you would actually listen to it, later

This is great! Not only was I looking for the tab for it,I was also looking for the words. Thank you very much.It is much appreciated.
P.S. I am also giving it a rating of 10+.You may enter that on my behalf. Thanks again.

If you capo on the 7th and play a C that is the same thing as no capo and playing a G. And yes the chords would be C G Am7 G. The only difference is it gives the song a more mandolin type of sound. But is still in the key of G. If you want to play it capo'd on the 7th play C G Am7 Am7/B G. That is probably how they play it. Just guessing. But nice tab.
