What is F#/G ?

I haven't tried playing this yet, but I'm assuming that F#/G thing is just a "walk-down" transition between the G and the Em. Basically, its playing the G chord with the normal base "G" note on the E string and then the same chord with the base note as an "F#" before switching to a normal Em.
