Great song! -WildCard76 | 6/23/2003 |
I'm pretty sure his guitar is tuned down a half step, cause these chords are right. Probably makes the picking a little easier, I'll try it and let ya'll know.

this song is tuned down a whole step, the chords (as in regular tuning) are G, C, D for the verse and chorus, with Em, D for the bridge.

I went ahead and tabbed this (and it's on the site) and if you want the exact sound from the recording, capo 1 and play key of E chords...I also got the bridge chords...
But I decided to pull it from the site since Palamin0 had it done the way I tabbed it...

i think the last 3 notes of the first part of the intro (starting after the first note of the hammer-on) are fret 3 on the A string, open on the D string, then fret 3 on the A string again -jojo_drummer | 3/2/2004 |
I'm not absolutely sure but I think the the hammer on parts are on the 3rd and 5th not the 1rst and 3rd frets -DASaaed | 1/26/2006 |
I'll have to get the guitar out to check on the tuning but my point here is that the timing of your chords on the words is off. You have the chords at the beginning of each line which is incorrect for some lines. Try this: G When you give it up for gone C But you're still diggin in the mine G And you're starin out the window D Sayin everything will be just fine
Hope this helps. Keep on jammin! -melchizedek767 | 6/8/2014 |
