Cadd9 - 032013
Dadd9 - X54035

G Cadd9 Dadd9 Cadd9 twice

G
We'll go down in history, me lovin' you
               Cadd9 Dadd9 Cadd9
You lovin' me, yeah
        G
There's something about the way we kiss, it's in the stars, baby
               Cadd9 Dadd9 Cadd9
We can't miss, no

Pre-Chorus:
Cadd9 Bm
Before you came along, my heart was down
         Cadd9 C/B C/Bb Am
Then you walked right in
              D
And turned my world around

Chorus:
                    Cadd9
The best year of my life
       Cadd9 G
Is the year that just went by since I met you
                    Cadd9
The best year of my life
       Cadd9 Bm
Is the year that you made all my dreams come true
           Cadd9
And you'll always be the one
    Am D
And every year to come
                            G Cadd9 Dadd9 Cadd9
Will be the best year of my life

Baby, since you came along
My life's turned into a song, yeah
And in your misty eyes I see
Way beyond eternity, yeah

Pre-Chorus:
Your special kind of lovin' never fades, it just keeps on growin'
Stronger every day

What is a c/b and c/bm
-martywiththeparty | 1/25/2011
C/B - 020010
C/Bb - 010010

As you can see from the song, you are playing a C before walking it down to an Am so all you are really doing is running the bass note (5th string) from the 3rd fret to the 2nd fret to the 1st fret and then into Am.
