I had no idea Elvis sang this. Well, he made a great choice when deciding to sing it. Kiris Kristofferson wrote it, so you know that it's a great song. During his live performance, Elvis would step aside and let JD Sumter and The a Stamps sing this song by themselves. The low bass voice is JD and the incredible harmonies are the stamps.
