A great song in tribute to former band member, Patrick Bourque.

G D Em7 D

Verse 1
G D
I still talk to you
              Em7
Whenever I’m alone
                   D
I hear you in my prayers
                            G
Feel you in the wind that blows.
G D
I wonder how you are
                           Em7
What you’re doing way up there
                             D
Are you laughing or are you crying
                            C
Cause you miss us all down here.

Chorus
C
Only God knows when
        D C
You'll smile and take my hand
                 G D
When I see you again
D Em7 D
When I see you again.

Verse 2

I wish I had the chance
To hold you one last time
It hurts me to know you never got to say goodbye.
You’re never really gone
Your memory remains
I miss you more than words could ever help me to explain.

Chorus
C
Only God knows when
       D C
This road I’m on will end
                  G D Em7
When I see you again.

Bridge
Em7 G
I'll see you when the set runs out
Em7 G
When the song is over and the curtain falls down
Em7 G
I’ll see you on the other side
                C D
You can show me what it’s like.

Chorus
C
Only God knows when
         D C
You’ll smile and take my hand
D C G D
I’ll say how you been
D Em7 D G D Em7 D G
When I see you again

When I'm sing the last line of the verse while playing C doesn't seem to fit, it feels like it should be a minor chord. Any ideas?
