Like We Never Loved At All - Faith Hill
Album: Fireflies
Written by: JOHN RICH/SCOTT SAX/VICKIE MCGEHEE

D variation on intro goes like this:

E--2---3-2-0---2----- (repeat) (you can play this into
B--3---3-3-3-3-3------ the verse too on the D)
G--2---2-2-2-2-2------
D--0---0-0-0-0-0------
A--------------------
E--------------------

D
You never looked so good as you did last night
                A G
Underneath the city lights
D
There walking with your friend, laughing at the moon
                          A G
I swear you looked right through me
A G A
But I’m still living with your goodbye
     G A
And you’re just going on with your life

Chorus:
        D
How can you just walk on by
         A
Without one tear in your eye
           Bm G
Don’t you have the slightest feelings left for me
D A
Maybe that’s just your way of dealing with the pain
            Bm E
Forgetting everything between our rise and fall
G
Like we never loved at all

D

D
You, I hear you’re doing fine, seems like you’re doing well
                 A G
As far as I can tell
D
Time is leaving us behind, another week has passed
                      A G
And still I haven’t laughed yet
A G A
So tell me, what your secret is
     G A
To letting go, letting go like you did, like you did

CHORUS

Bm A G
    Did you forget the magic
Bm A G
Did you forget the passion, ohhh
Bm A E G D
And did you ever miss me, and long to kiss me.....

D A Bm G

D A
Maybe that’s just your way of dealing with the pain
            Bm E
Forgetting everything between our rise and fall
G D
Like we never loved at all

Good job on this. I tabbed it out and have been playing it a bit differently. I sent you an email to see what you think about it. Let me know your thoughts.

Shantel, you are always on the up and up. You always hit the song perfect. Thanks and I look forward to your next tabs. B-

Thanks, my girlfriend will be happy 'cause she likes this song and wanted to sing together, but I just couldn't get it quite right.

Everything's good, but it's a Bm in the 2 lines up to the chorus...not an A and a G

I struggled with that chord...there is a G bass note but it sounds like it does have a minor in it. I think it might be a Bm/G which is kinda hard to play (3x4432), but the G works too as a simpler way to play it.

This is a great tab. I do agree with Shantel, that it sounds like a Bm/G (good practice for using your thumb;).

I found that it sounds better if you play a quick A chord in between the Bm and G and Bm and E in the chorus...but other than that, its a great tab so thanks!

thanks for posting, playing with a country band right now and this helped out a lot when i forgot to listen to the CD before practice

instead of that A in the chorus, try just the high 3 strings on the 2nd fret. I can't think of the name of this chord, but it sounds kinda cool.
