Alone With You
by Faron Young
===============

G
How I'd love to be around you
C
When the lonely night surrounds you
G D7
How I'd love to be alone with you
G
What I'd give to have the power
C
To read your mind one hour
G D7 G
How I'd love to be alone with you

C
Just to be with you one night
G
You and me alone
C
Kiss your lips and hold you tight
G D7
Have you for my own
G
It would be a joy unending
C
Could be a real beginning
G D7 G
How I'd love to be alone with you

How I'd love to be around you when
C
The lonely night surrounds you
G D7
How I'd love to be alone with you
G
If I only knew for certain
C
I'd cut out all my flirtin'
G D7 G
How I'd love to be alone with you

C
Just to be with you one night
G
You and me alone
C
Kiss your lips and hold you tight
G D7
Have you for my own
G
It would be a joy unending
C
Could be a real beginning
G D7 G
How I'd love to be alone with you

SONG HISTORY & INFORMATION

Faron recorded hundreds of songs during his fabulous career. Although he was small in stature,
his voice was incredibly strong. Faron could sing any type whether it be ballads, novelty or
beautiful love songs. Like most artists, many of his best songs were never released as singles
and received little or no radio play.

He was among the top country stars and was one of the most colourful personalities all though
the 1950's until the late 1970's. We all remember his classic hits "If You ain't Lovin then
You Ain't Livin" and "Live Fast, Love Hard, Die Young" marking him a true honky-tonk man in
sound and style. Of course we will never forget how his versatility as a vocalist really came
out in songs like "Hello Walls" and Four In the Morning".
