The American Honky Tonk Bar Association

Verse:
G
If your paycheck depends on the weather an’ the clock
 	  	  	  	  	  	    G7
If your conversation calls for a little more than a coffee pot
 	 C G
If you need to pour your heart out, an’ try to rectify some situation, that you’re facin’
 	  	 D G
Contact your American Honky Tonk Bar Association

Verse:
G
When Uncle Sam dips in your pocket, for most things you don’t mind
 	  	  	  	  	  	  	 G7
But when your dollar goes to all of those standin’ in a welfare line
    C G
Rejoice you have a voice, if you’re concerned about the destination, of this great nation
 	  	 D G G7
It’s called the American Honky Tonk Bar Association

Chorus 1:
 	             C
It represents the hard-hat, gun-rack, achin’-back, over-taxed, flag-wavin’, fun-lovin’ crowd
         G
Their heart is in the music, an’ they love to play it loud
 	    D
There’s no forms or no applications, there’s no red-tape administrations
 	  	  	  	          G
It’s the American Honky Tonk Bar Association

Verse:
G
We’re all one big family throughout the cities an’ the towns
 	  	  	  	  	  	     G7
We don’t reach for handouts, we reach for those who’re down
        C G
And every local chapter has a seven-day-a-week-available consultation, for your frustration
 	  	 D G G7
It’s called the American Honky Tonk Bar Association

Repeat Chorus 1

Chorus 2:
G7 C
It represents the mud-flap, six-pack, bare-crack, over-taxed, flag-wavin’, fun-lovin’ crowd
         G
Their heart is in the music, an’ they love to play it loud
 	     D
There’s no forms or no applications, there’s no red-tape administrations
 	  	  	  	          G
It’s the American Honky Tonk Bar Association

I don't know man. I played along with it
just to double check, and the version of the
song that I have sounds pretty good with
this tab. So I am not going to change it.
Thanks for the comment though.

The notes are right, but still It's played With Capo on III fret, E, A ,B. So you'll be able to play the guitar riff just like the record.
