I think the D in the chorus is F#m. Also I suggest G instead of G/B. Good tab pretty close. -Shantel | 2/12/2005 |
Shantel, took your suggestions and implemented them. However, I'm still pretty sure the last two D's in the chorus is right. Thanks for the help! :) -charneus | 2/15/2005 |
yeah those last two are right...sorry :o) -Shantel | 2/16/2005 |
Great. Thanks for the chords. It works well for playing along....but has anyone figured out the TAB?
Thanks for the good work. Cheers -NewToC | 2/17/2005 |
Great job. How do you play an f#7? -dslaton | 3/2/2005 |
F#7 is played by the following:
E 2 B 2 G 4 D 3 A 4 E 2 -charneus | 3/3/2005 |
go to george canyons website, and click on the cmt webcast. there is a fantastic version of this song( live acoustic). he plays w/ capo 3. if i was a better guitarist, i would be able to figure out the tab, but im still learning. someome w/ some skill would probably be able to do it pretty easy tho.

Great job. I met George Canyon at the 2005 ECMA's in February, cool guy. He played "My Name" live at the awards show and it sounded better than the recording. Now I know it's because he uses the capo on the third fret.
