Key of F (I like to capo 3 and play Key of D chord for F key)

Capo 3

D G A D
Galveston, oh Galveston
D D7 G G/F# Em
I still hear your sea winds blowin'
A D G G/F# Em
I still see her dark eyes glowin'
               Bm G D G A D
She was twenty-one when I left Galveston

Galveston, oh Galveston
I still hear your sea waves crashing
While I watch the cannons flashing
I clean my gun and dream of Galveston

Bridge:
F G F G
I still see her standing by the water
Am F
Standing there lookin' out to sea
           Dm G C
And is she waiting there for me
       Em Dm
On the beach where we used to run

Galveston, oh Galveston
I am so afraid of dying
Before I dry the tears she's crying
Before I watch your sea birds flying in the sun at Galveston

At Galveston

I love this song. It's one of my favorite Glen Campbell songs. This
one and "By The Time I Get To Phoenix." He's got some pretty good
tunes. Good job on the tab. Fact about Glen Campbell, sometime during
the 60s, he played for the Beach Boys for a while. I came across it
when reading a book on Rock 'N' Roll artists yesterday in the campus
library at the college that I go to.

No one believes me when I say the G/F# does not really exist. It is almost always a D/F# when I see that chord posted. Other than that, great tab. Fun to play
