What Makes You Say
By Jack Ingram
C/B – x20010
Intro chords:
G D Em C G D G (twice)
G D Em C G D G
What makes you say the thing that you say

What did I do so wrong today
G D Em C G D G
Where d’you learn how to cut me so deep
G D Em C G D G
When’d I let you get so far away from me

And I know that we stood there and promised each other forever

But the truth hits and I know we’d be better off alone
Chorus
Stand here in the silence that remains
Loving you still does not change a thing

Hey that sounds pretty good man. I am not listening to song right now so I could be wrong, but in the chorus I replaced that C/B with a Em and it sounds pretty good. I don't know, just a thought. -danieldogg101 | 5/11/2005 | Good job on the song but if your playing the live version he plays a G instead of an Em in the verse.
