I love this song (nice to see new stuff from Chad Brock, even if it's just as a songwriter). Great tab!

Jason played this live with a capo on 3 in the key of D. check out cmt.com studio 330 sessions to see it.

just because he played it live that way doesn't mean it was recorded that way in the Studio....

When you record in the studio you want to get the richest / warmest sound so rarely will you use a capo...You can however tune up or down without losing that true sound. And I bet Jason proabably didn't even play it in the studio...

Studio releases are very different than live playing..AS a singer you want to play the easiest way (unless of course you are Brad Paisley or Keith Urban)... beacause you want your vocal performance to shine...if not your guitar playing means squat...

When I'm in the studio I rarely use a capo I will tune up or down (actually I have different guitars tunes differently for the studio)....

But when I'm playing live since I am a singer / guitarist I will use a capo...
