Is this with the capo, because he clearly plays it with a capo in his live videos. -BZbodyboarder84 | 6/1/2008 |
This is with NO capo. In the video, Jimmy's playing the Lead. This is just the overall chord structure. -tdreamer112 | 6/2/2008 |
hey man goodI overall but i cant figure one thing out. It might just be me but the F#m11 or whatever it is just doesn't sound good. the F# note just doesn't fit in with that Asus2 formation and the chord change sounds really rough. can you look at that again please because the way this sight says to play that chord at least doesn't sound quite right. Thanks -burkina | 6/2/2008 |
The way to play the F#m11 is the same as the Asus2...except you mute the A string and Play the F# note on the Low E string. -tdreamer112 | 6/2/2008 |
This is hard to transpose into a capo, which is definately on the third fret. What would the chords change to if I used a capo on the third fret? -RipkenFan86 | 7/4/2008 |
the note C#m sounds really funny in this song temporarilly i replaced it with F#m11 and it sounds OK but still it could do with a little better note. i only started playing last september so i may be wrong -bhs_bobcats | 7/21/2008 |
hey i just started playing trying to learn the strum pattern is there an easier way? thanks -onewrongway | 8/12/2008 |
The easiest way would be to listen to the song. Especially if you're just starting out and don't read music. -tdreamer112 | 8/12/2008 |
there is a capo'd version of the song posted on the site. some of the chords a little easier for newer players, however this one does sound better. -doughboy57012 | 10/26/2008 |
Allow me to be the first to say ... dude, you did a great job tabbing this song! Personally I think playing it like this is easier than using a capo ... how do you capo a chord to make it sound like the F#m7 chord (or whatever it is)? Anyway ... great job dude. Oh, as for a strumming pattern that someone asked about ... Jimmy Wayne's tunes generally don't have one ... he's all over the place on the guitar, and I mean that as a compliment to J Dubbs! -joedwright | 12/11/2008 |
