(C)Somebody's gonna give you A lesson in leavin'

Somebody's gonna give you back, What you've been givin'

And I hope that (F)I'm around, To watch 'em (G)knock you down

It's (C)like you to love 'em and leave 'em;

Just like you loved me and left me

It's like you to do that (F)sort of thing, Over and (G)over again;

You're a fool-hearted (C)man

Bridge:

I (Am)hear you've been askin' about me (C)from some of my friends

Well, (Am)you'd better believe; I'm not goin' (C)through that again

You're the (Am)kind of man, A woman (G)thinks she can change

Oh, but the (F)only thing changin', Is (C)my way of thinkin'

And (Am)I'm thinkin' that maybe (G)someday

II

(C)Somebody's gonna give you A lesson in losin'

Somebody's gonna do to you, What you've been doin'

And I hope that (F)I'm around, To watch 'em (G)knock you down

(C)Somebody's gonna give you A lesson in hurtin'

Somebody's gonna leave you, With your fire burnin'

And no way to (F)put it out, Baby, there (G)ain't no doubt;

You're a fool-hearted (C)man

Sing Bridge Again
Sing I again 2x…..Modulate to D….no music (just drums)....
Resume music on "It's like you to love 'em....etc."
Oh, a fool-hearted man, Oh, whoa, Oh, a fool-hearted man

I had tabbed this song out, under the wrong title,
before I noticed this tab was already here
and the one I posted has been deleted. But
here are some things I thought were different.

In the first chorus, the last line has a walk-down
from C to Am and then a walk-up back to C:

C-C/B-Am-C/B-C
You’re a fool hearted man

There’s also a chord progression on that same
line after the modulation change:

D-Bm-G-A-D
You’re a fool hearted man

I’m hearing the bridge a little bit differently too:

Bridge:
Am
You’re the kind of man
Em7
A woman thinks she can change
C
Oh but the only thing changin’
Am
Is my way of thinkin’
F G
And I’m thinkin’ that maybe someday

This is what I had for the outro. Not that it’s
wrong here, but it’s not very clear:

Outro (Repeat until fade):
D G A D
Oooooh, A fool hearted man

Can someone explain the modulation change to D for me? I am still learning and am not sure how to make the change. Thanks.

Close, but no cigar
