A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
Joe Diffie
Album: A Night To Remember

(Note: The original tab was missing some chords that are needed to get
the best sound. Also, the D, D/C, D/B is a walk down to Am)

Capo 3rd Fret (To Match Recording)

Intro: (G) (D/F#) (Em7) (C) (D)

Been (G) one tough week, (D/F#) dead on my feet
(C) But, I've made plans for to(G)night (D)
When (G) I'm feeling blue, know (D/F#) just what to do
(C) And how to make it (D) right (D/C) (D/B)
(Am) Seems like I've (C) needed this for(D)ever
Gonna (C) have myself a (D) night to re(G)member (D)

Dim the (G) lights, lock the door
Spread your (D/F#) pictures on the floor,
Throw the (Em7) dust off of our past
Let it (C) all come floodin' (D) back,
Cause' it ain't (G) easy being strong
 	 And when I (D/F#) can't forget you're gone
 	 I just surr(Em7)ender, and (C) have myself a (D) night to re(G)member

(D/F#) (Em7) (C) (D)

(G) Sad ain't my style, but (D/F#) once in a while
(Em7) I just have to give (G) in (D)
'Cause a (G) woman like you, is (D/F#) so hard to lose
(C) You just don't want it to (D) end (D/C) (D/B)
(Am) I know this (C) can't go on for(D)ever
So to(C)night I'll have a (D) night to re(G)member (D)

Repeat Chorus

 	 (TAG)

Oh, it ain't (G) easy being strong
 	 And when I (D/F#) can't forget you're gone
 	 I just surr(Em7)ender, and (C) have myself a (D) night to re(G)member

(D/F#) (Em7) (C) (D)

I forgot about this song until I found it here. I think you have it right, but I'm having a hard time making it sound right. Any suggestions?
