good job bro....little story behind this song,,,,was in foster homes for 7 years and everytime I use to be allowed to see my mom, I would stand with my brother and sister in front of her, when I was 9, and sing this song to her, (cause it was good to be "back home again") I learned to play guitar in the last 3 years and wish now that I could actually play this song for my mom, but never got the chance. I think she hears me though,,,I sing loud enough,,,lol....thanks bro :)

I play it in "D" too because it matches my singing voice better.

Chords are: "D", "D7", "G", "A" and "Em"

My fav Denver song. And it's great for the last song of the evening jam session, especially when everyone is about half lit and feeling melancholy. :)
