Let me just start off by saying I'm NOT 100% sure on this tab.
Check it out and let me know if you have any suggestions.
The strumming pattern is a little tricky to figure out so
kinda play around with it til it sounds right. I find that
partially muting the chords and alternating strumming
quickly and slowly sounds best. Good luck and great
album!
Verse:
B E E
He's got a sunburn on his left arm from hanging out a Peterbilt window
B E E
Got a wife and three kids on the farm driving just as fast as he can go, yeah
Minneapolis in his rearview he's a deadheading to Tulsa
Got the hammer down on 82 with every mile marker getting closer
Chorus:
B A
I said hey he's a trucker man
E
Trying to get on just as fast as he can
B A
Those red eye runs are taking their toll
E B
His 18 wheeler is a rolling back home
Staring a hole through the windshield he's got 19 on the CB
Well they call him the bandaid cause he only brakes for the smokies
Repeat Chorus
He's got a Smith & Wesson in the glove box and Mother Mary on the dashboard
He's a red blooded blue collar man American right to the core
Repeat Chorus x2
