isn't it done in the key of c? or i think it is. I learned it in a and in c a long time ago, and i think the song sounds better in c. but lots of people transpose songs into the key they like to play it in anyway. -macg1 | 8/29/2004 |
oh i forgot to mention, the chord progression doesn't look right. I'll try it out sometime, but in the key of 'a' the chord change is:
A Well I woke up Sunday mornin' D with now way to hold my head A that didn't hurt A And the beer I had for breakfast F#m wasn't bad so I had one more E7 for dessert A Then I fumbled thru my closet D through my clothes and found my A cleanest dirty shirt E7 Then I washed my face and combed my
hair and stumbleed down the stairs A to meet the day.
There's verse 1: now for the chorus it's E7, NOT E.
I play the song in the Key of 'C'. Here are the key of a chords transposed into the key of c.
(1) A=C (2) D=F (3-7)E7=G7 (6m) F#m=Am -macg1 | 8/29/2004 |
