THE L & N DONT STOP HERE ANYMORE

I give credit for this tab to wlc74. He sent me the chords in a message, because I sent him the chords
for Trouble In Mind a while ago. He let me submit it, because of criticism. So if you have to criticize
this tab, the criticism is for me, not him. I don't mind the criticism.

VERSE ONE:
Em D Em
When I was a curly headed baby
   D Em
My Daddy set me down upon his knee.
                       D Em
He said "Boy you go to school and learn your letter
         C D Em
Dont you be a dirty miner like me"

CHORUS:
      D Em
I was born and raised in the mouth of the hazard holler
D Em
Coal cars rumble past my door
EM D Em
Now theyre standin in an empty row all rusty
        C D Em
And the L&N dont stop here anymore

The next two verses, and chorus, have the same progression.
A suggestion to the ending is G-C-G one beat each)
Again, I give wlc74 credit to this tab, because its his work, but he gave me permission to submit it.
Any corrections, please correct me, or him. If it's derogatory comments, send them to me, because I
submitted the tab. Thank you.

I have recently played this with Capo on 1. Sounds better than what I originally told Mac.

I used to think my daddy was a black man

With scr i pt enough to buy the company store

But now he goes to town with his pockets empty

and his face as white as the February snow

(chorus)

last night I dreamed I went down to the coalyard

to collect my pay just like I'd done before

Them ole kudzu vines were comin through the window

and the weeds and grass were coming through the floor

(Chorus)
