Pickin' Wildflowers
(Keith Anderson/John Rich/Kim Williams)

Tuffrocker had already made a great tab of this
song that included the chords too, so all the
credit should go to him. I just thought I'd
include all of the lyrics for anyone who wanted
them. This is a great song and a fun one to play.

Tune down 1/2 step
Intro: E D7
       E D7

 E D A
Hey baby whatcha doin' this evening?
         E D A
Can you meet me down at the railroad tracks?
       E D A
I got Tom Petty playin' in my Silverado,
       E (no chord)
And I iced down a six-pack. Un huh.

Play Intro

 E D A
Hey Daisy don't you worry 'bout your mama,
    E D A
Like 007 we can keep it covert.
     E D A
Undercover on the ground by the water
       E (no chord)
Gonna get a little peace... on earth.

 E G A
Baby whatcha say we go pickin' wildflowers?
 E G A
Got a spot way back in the woods.
 E G A
Sneak away for a couple of hours,
 E (no chord)
You and me baby, pickin' wildflowers.

Play Intro

Hey baby, Mother Nature is waitin'
And Love's bloomin' like a cherry tree.
Let's buzz around, maybe do some pollenating,
Dive in like honey bees.

Chorus

Intro x 4

 A
Take a trail ride if you know what I mean.
 A
Hey baby won't you come with me?

Chorus x 2

To play along with the cd you will have to tune down 1/2 step and play the same chords listed here. For those of you wanting to know how to tune down 1/2 step put your capo on the first fret and then get out your tuner. With the capo on tune your strings to the basic E A D G B E tuning. When the capo is removed then the tuning should be down 1/2 step.

I appreciate your laying out the words and chords in a more user-friendly fashion. Regarding the intro, if you are in a multiple guitar configuration (or some other instrument is doing the intro riff),
the guitar chords should not obscure the riff. If you are performing the song solo, I would encourage you to make the effort to play the intro as one of the variations proposed under tuffrocker's entry instead of just playing the intro chords.
