It sounds like the whole intro is played on two strings..sounds very harmonic.....could be wrong though

you play it lower on the neck like on the correction tab but no reason for a 1 rating still. That means it doesn't even sound like it and this is right except for the ringing E string.

I think for playing solo (i.e. no rhythm help), a barred G chord is the way to go. You can pick up your scale while holding onto the higher notes and throwing a little in the bass as well.
Not to take away from anyone else's tab here, just saying . . .
