**************************************************************

Fmaj7 G Fmaj7 G
INTRO

Fmaj7 G
There was a world outside my door,
Fmaj7 G
I wasn't in touch with anymore.
Fmaj7 G
There was a way I used to feel,
Fmaj7 G
I knew what was and wasn't real.

Fmaj7 G
You built a bridge, I tore it down,
Fmaj7 G
I felt safe on shaky ground.
Fmaj7 G
And I was a master of despair,
Fmaj7 C G
 Making believe I didn't care.

Dm G
I shouldn't be standing here today,
Dm7 C G
After all the crazy things I've done.
Dm G
I'm ready to fall and that's OK,
F Dm7 C Cadd9
I ran as far as I could run.
    Fmaj7 G
You won.

Fmaj7 G
Out of a world turned upside down,
Fmaj7 G
It took some time to come around.
Fmaj7 G
Out of a dream you made me whole,

Yes you did.
Fmaj7 C G
You lit a fire down in my soul.

Dm G
I shouldn't be standing here today,
Dm7 C G
After all the crazy things I've done.
Dm G
I'm ready to fall and that's OK,
F Dm7 C
I ran as far as I could run.
        G
And you won.

F G Fmaj7 C G
INSTRUMENTAL

Dm G
I shouldn't be standing here today,
Dm7 C G
After all the crazy things I've done.
Dm G
I'm ready to fall and that's OK,
F Dm7 C Cadd9
I ran as far as I could run.
        Fmaj7 G
And you won.
  Fmaj7 G
You won.

    Fmaj7
I'm ready to fall.
                                  G
I thought I knew what I was doing.

I thought I was in control.
Fmaj7 G
I thought nobody could slow me down,

But what did I know?
Fmaj7 G
I was just a kid, a motherless child,
                                      Fmaj7
No-one to watch over me I was runnin' wild.
                    G
Free of all responsibility 'til my life,
                  Fmaj7 G
And my love for myself caught up with me.

Yeah, it caught up with me.
Fmaj7 G Fmaj7 (to fade)
And now I'm, (ready to fall), yes I am...

I wouldn't have thought it was using capo.
The chords wouldn't really match up with
anything around the 4th fret.
-axehappy | 12/3/2004
He uses capo 2 the most
-Derek_Cave99 | 1/26/2005
Keith does usually use 2nd fret with the exception of Raining On Sunday that is on the 4th fret.
-AustinTXMusicFa | 3/6/2005

Way to go!
-sweethomealabam | 4/10/2005
He uses capo III on But For the Grace of God... He uses capos everywere, not that he needs to use them.
-KU_isbestever | 7/1/2005
there is no capo on but for the grace
