Actually, the into is on a mandolin,
at least that's the way he did it live. It sounded accurate.

Most of the parts seem to switch from G to G6 to me but I'm not sure. I think its right.

That is, just where it says G or G6, not the entire song
-hbk | 8/19/2003
I think all the times it rests on G its a
Gmaj7-Gmaj6 switch...Might be helpful. :)

For strum pattern, I play this song with a vv^^v^. As for the intro, I play it with G6 (bouncing between A & D string on 2nd Fret)X6, then Am7/D7 X2, then G6 (bouncing)x6, then Am7/D7 X2, then G6 into the first verse. It sounds great to me. This is a real "feel" song.

Some parts don't sound right, and quite a few of the timings aren't in the right places, which can make one heck of a difference when playing it.

I just noticed that the fingering you show for the G chord is actually G7. I think it sounds better as a G7 anyway but I've been playing it with a regular and thought it sounded a little off. Glad I finally paid attention to the details.
