Nice Tab! This is an awesome song. Anyone who played high school football in a small town can relate to every word of the song. We all would like to go back to those glory days!

man you have no idea we were picked to win state my sr. year..we lost to a little down in texas called windthorst by 3 points..and i hate to say this but it was over a s**tty pass interference call..Oh well its 3 years later now.and i still think about how i wish we could get our team back and go play that game one more time..with like NCAA officials..or even NFL not high school but whatever

Good job but here are a couple corrections to make in the chorus:
It's, (G/B) fighting back them butterflies
It's, (G/B)slinging mud and dirt and grass
THe "B" is very distinct.. [G/B = x20033]
Also after the 2nd chorus going into the lead it goes:
The (F)boys of fall-(C)-(G)--(F)-(C)-(D)

Oh the glory days fellas. It's been 9 yrs. for me and seems like yesterday I was putting that helmet on. I look at the team today, and they're just not the same.
